Did you know that you do not need to have a referral to come in for an appointment?
We are here to help you get the care you need. It is our policy that everyone should have access to care.
Being a direct access patient means that as soon as an issue arises, you can call us to get scheduled without needing to see your primary care physician first. Rest assured, your PCP will still be involved in your care through notes sent after your evaluation, and notes on your progress to make sure they are in agreement with your treatment plan.
Your Direct Access Options:
Traditional Medicare Part B
Medicare Part B allows you to be a direct access patient. There are also no authorization requirements for physical therapy, and no set visit limits. This allows for you and your physical therapist to have control over your treatment!
Private Insurances (including Medicare Advantage Plans)
Many insurance plans do not require you to have a referral to be seen. We recommend that you call your insurance company to ask what your outpatient physical therapy benefits are, if authorization is required, and if you will need a referral.
We are in-network with the following insurance companies:
Premera Blue Cross / Lifewise
Regence Blue Shield
Aetna (including Sound Health & Wellness Trust)
First Choice Network (along with other insurances under this network)
Cigna
WA State Labor and Industries
Motor Vehicle P.I.P. Insurance
Kaiser Permanente PPO
Tricare
Cash Pay
We offer flat-rate Cash Pay options for treatment so that anyone can be a direct access patient! Whether you don't have insurance, we are not in-network with your insurance, or if you simply want to avoid the referral and authorization restrictions that your insurance may require, our Cash Pay option is open to you.
Navigating the healthcare system can be confusing. We hope we have made it easier to understand your options to get the physical therapy you need.
If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call.
We are here to help!
